1946 Tarzan Lord of the Jungle Better Little Book Whitman Edgar Rice Burroughs

Vintage Tarzan: Lord of the Jungle Better Little Book, published by Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin. Based on the famous newspaper strip by Edgar Rice Burroughs.  The copyright page lists 1931 and 1946, making this a 1946-era edition. The spine is marked Better Little Book No. 1407. The book contains illustrated pages throughout.  This copy is in well-worn vintage condition. The covers show significant edge wear, surface loss, scuffing, staining, corner wear, and small tears. The spine remains present but has wear along the edges and ends. The pages are age-toned and show some pencil or crayon markings. There is also a small tear along the upper edge of the title page. The binding remains together, but the book should be handled carefully due to its age and condition.  Please review all photographs closely, as they are part of the description. Sold as a vintage collectible in its present condition.
