Copper Gregorian Chamberstick or Fingerloop Candle Stick Holder - Vintage

Offering an ornate, copper candle holder in the Chamberstick or Fingerloop Style.  The base is a “scurf” drip pan that measures approx 8” in diameter & curls upward with a scalloped edge to catch melted wax. The base is affixed to an ornate scrolled handle for easy transport & the candle socket holds a tapered or pillar candle.   This candlestick is not signed on the bottom. However, markings from the original stamp indicate that it may be from a historic maker, such as the Homan Manufacturing Company (H.M.C.). It is made in the USA & believed to be MCM or a late 19th Century reproduction of Colonial or Victorian Styling. It shows some patination, but may be polished at the buyers discretion.
