Vintage Wrought Iron Courting Candle Holder Spiral Coil Adjustable Candlestick

Vintage wrought iron courting candle holder! Features a classic spiral coil design with a movable wood core insert and adjustment peg that twists smoothly up and down the track. According to old colonial tradition, a father would set the candle height before a suitor arrived—when it burned down to the top loop, date night was over! Stands 6 inches tall with an elegant scrolled handle and a beautiful dark natural patina. In good condition. Check out my listings for more vintage and collectible items!
