Description
This item is a vintage mid-century picnic basket produced by W.C. Redmon & Sons, widely known as the Redmon Picnic Basket. Dating to the 1950s or 1960s, it features a sturdy press board hinged lid, dual metal drop down handles and woven fiber siding constructed on a metal frame It measures 17 inches wide and 10 inches in height and depth. It is in very good vintage condition with a couple of paint scuffs on each handle where they run together, one small ding on the lid and a one spot on the back where the weaving is uneven ( I believe from manufacturing) Review pics for details and feel free to ask any questions.
