【Product Name/Model Name】
Nintendo Super Famicom Peripheral: Super Game Boy 2 (SHVC-042)
When I purchased this used several years ago, there was a name written on it in permanent marker. I erased it, but a faint trace remains. Please see the 6th photo.
This is an improved model of the Super Game Boy, released in 1998. It features a newly added communication port, enabling head-to-head battles and data exchange using a communication cable. The unit boasts a clear blue skeleton color, with a design that allows the internal circuit board to be visible. Furthermore, the processing speed has been corrected to match that of the actual Game Boy, allowing you to enjoy Game Boy software on the large TV screen in a more accurate environment.
