Suzuki Mandola Master Hand Suzuki MD-8 Good Condition

This is a mandola made by Suzuki Musical Instruments, a renowned Japanese violin maker. Suzuki Musical Instruments has since passed on its mandolin production to ENA in Ena, Gifu, and new Suzuki mandolas are rarely available.
While reasonably priced, these instruments are handmade using high-quality materials, and used ones are currently traded at prices higher than their original retail price.
The MD-8 is the grade below the highest quality MD-10. It features a carved-rib back made of maple, with a design reminiscent of the classic A model from Calace. The year of manufacture is unknown, but the wood is well-seasoned and produces a good resonance, suggesting it is about 20 years old.
There is some minor age-related wear. The neck is not warped. The strings have been loosened for storage to reduce stress on the neck and will be shipped as is.
The case is a hard case with signs of age and use. Please consider it as protective packaging.
The fingerboard has been cleaned, and the frets have been cleaned and lightly polished. The body has been cleaned and treated with an oil polish.
After purchase, we recommend having it adjusted to your preference by a mandolin specialist.
It will be shipped with bubble wrap applied both inside and outside the case for cushioning.
