Vintage 1930s Art Deco Faux Lapis Lazuli Filigree Brooch Pin- Molded Blue Glass

Beautiful authentic vintage Art Deco costume brooch dating from the late 1930s to 1940s.  Design & Materials: Features a striking, vibrant royal blue molded glass cabochon designed to mimic carved Chinese lapis lazuli with an elegant floral and leaf motif. The stone is set into an ornate, silver-tone openwork filigree frame made of vintage pot metal alloy, decorated with classic Art Deco geometric tiers and milgrain detailing.  The ornate geometric frame features elegant milgrain detailing with raised, faceted accent beads that beautifully mimic the metallic sparkle of vintage Art Deco marcasites.  Mechanism & Authenticity: The reverse features an era-authentic spring-ring safety clasp with an extended pin stem overhang, verifying its true mid-century vintage construction. There are no maker's marks or stamps, which is typical for costume pieces of this period.  Condition: Good vintage condition with a tight, working lock mechanism. The molded blue glass insert is beautifully preserved with zero cracks. The metal frame shows a charming aged patina and minor surface wear consistent with age, as pictured.
