Hermes Cosmos Philippe Ledoux silk scarf 45cm w/COA

A beautiful authentic Hermès Cosmos small scarf in the classic navy and gold colorway — one of the house's most iconic and enduring designs. Originally created by Philippe Ledoux in 1964 and reissued multiple times since, the Cosmos features an armillary sphere at the center encircled by ornate gold scrollwork, set against a deep midnight blue sky, with Apollo driving his four-horse chariot in each corner. 100% silk, hand-rolled edges. Carre 45 size.  Excellent preloved condition, no callouts. Barely used. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.  Style Notes: The Cosmos is one of those Hermès designs that collectors return to across every reissue — the midnight blue and gold combination is rich without being heavy, and the celestial subject matter gives it a gravitas that the purely equestrian designs don't always have. At 45cm it wears beautifully as a neck scarf, tied to a bag, or folded into a breast pocket. Very frameable too!  Please note, the artwork is Greek sculpture style, as you can see from the images.
