Vintage FAS 925 Sterling Silver Marcasite Heart Skeleton Key Pendant

Estate jewelry tray inspection. Saturday afternoon. You're holding this vintage FAS sterling silver skeleton-key pendant — heart-shaped bow, dark sparkling marcasite accents, antique-style silver finish, and enough romantic symbolism to make an ordinary key admit it opens a utility closet. A guy notices it immediately while pretending to understand marcasite jewelry like he once watched someone unlock an estate box and became director of Victorian access control. He asks where you got it. You ignore him. Twenty minutes later he returns and asks whether the heart-shaped top means the key opens romance or just an aggressively sentimental cabinet. By lunch he's recruited two sterling buyers and a woman who keeps saying key to my heart like she owns the phrase. The pendant has become the access meeting. Vintage skeleton-key pendant. Genuine sterling silver. Stamped FAS 925 THAI. Heart-shaped openwork top. Marcasite accents. Antiqued silver finish. Pendant or charm use. Exact piece shown. Blaine Nippleton examined both teeth, nodded once, then asked whether the key had already been copied at a hardware store. I needed to be somewhere else. I picked this up before some bozo tried opening a desk drawer with it. Shipped right — packed by someone who understands sterling jewelry, not someone firing marcasite into a mailer with broken clasps. Comes from a smoke-free lair.
