This book is a photo collection by the artistic photographer Robert Mapplethorpe, featuring female bodybuilder Lisa Lyon. The photographer and model conspire to visualize each other's fantasies. Lisa Lyon's supreme physique is intensely transformed by the imagination of the young Mapplethorpe. A collection of dangerous photographs filled with fin-de-siècle allegories that praise the body and attempt to reverse modern art—a forbidden photo collection.
