Description

The Scarab is a descender developed through 5 years of research and testing, boasting that it will change existing rope rescue systems.
The frame and crossbar strength exceeds 40kN.
In a drop test with an impact load of 13.3kN, there was no rope breakage and no damage to the Scarab.
Despite its small and simple design, it is an excellent piece of equipment capable of handling large loads.
It does not cause rope kinking even during long descents.
Full locking is easy, and it can be used with either the left or right hand.
Can be used with single or double ropes.
Setting is quick because there is only one bar that creates friction, and it is very easy to take up excess rope at the end.

For mountain rescue, where lightweight and compactness are required, an optimal belay system can be constructed in combination with a VT Prusik.
