Description
About This Item I am selling this pair of authentic vintage A&J hand-cranked egg beaters, a true piece of American kitchen history. This lot includes two large 10-12 inch steel and wood mixers that I have tested; both still turn smoothly despite their age. The first is an early A&J model with a classic metal loop handle, stamped with a patent date of October 9, 1923. The second is a larger 1940s-era model. These functional kitchen collectibles are perfect for display or light use. Historical Information The Smithsonian identifies similar A&J rotary egg beaters marked Made in U.S.A. and Pat. Oct. 9, 1923 as products of the A&J Manufacturing Company of Binghamton, New York. The Smithsonian dates this style to the 1923–1929 period.
