This is a mechanic qianjin for erhu.
It comes with an adjuster (fine-tuning function) for pitch.
Easy to attach and detach.
It can be attached and detached with the strings still tensioned.
You can also use it to find your preferred string height by simply turning the screw to change the string height. (With a traditional string qianjin, once you wind it, you have to re-wind it to change the string height.)
Alternatively, you can use this mechanic qianjin to set your preferred string height and then wind the traditional string qianjin in that state. (This is surprisingly convenient.)
It was purchased new and has been used very little, so I believe it is in good condition.
