Vintage Danish Map Tea Towels Illustrated Coastal Region Swan Border Set of 2

VINTAGE (Rare Find) Danish souvenir tea towels (kitchen linens) featuring whimsical illustrated maps. These delightful pieces come from my grandmother's collection and are at least 50 years old (likely 1960s–1970s). Design: Colorful stylized map of a Danish coastal/island region with boats, buildings, and scenic details. Beautiful blue scalloped border decorated with white swans (flying and swimming). Red inner border frames the map. One towel has a small inset map in the corner. Markings: One towel clearly shows the original manufacturer marks: MARIACO·TRYK (printer) and TOMMERUP·LIN (famous Danish linen producer from Tommerup on Funen/Fyn). The second towel is nearly identical but without visible markings. Size: Approximately 17 x 16 each. Material: Quality linen/cotton blend – absorbent yet decorative. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with vibrant colors, no holes, stains, or major wear. Light natural aging consistent with their age. These classic Scandinavian tea towels were popular souvenirs and decorative kitchen linens. The playful map style and elegant swan border make them wonderful for collectors of Danish/Scandinavian textiles, vintage kitchenware, or map art. They would also look fantastic in a coastal or farmhouse-style home – or even incorporated into custom sewing projects! Perfect addition to your collection or a unique gift! Please review all photos for exact condition and details – they form part of the description.
