Description
Vintage Wilton Armetale cast aluminum pewter-alternative covered soup tureen serving bowl with its original lid. The clear hallmark stamps on the base confirm it was manufactured in Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA. Unlike standard aluminum or fragile antique pewter, Wilton's proprietary Armetale non-toxic metal alloy is highly durable, designed not to chip, rust, or tarnish, and safely retains hot or cold serving temperatures. The piece features the classic stamped RWP circle emblem, the oval WILTON COLUMBIA, PA. U.S.A brand stamp, and three historic foundry touchmark circles. Good vintage condition.
