Vintage French Hammered Copper Saucepan Cast Iron Handle Made France 7.5 Inch

Substantial vintage French hammered copper saucepan featuring a deep straight-sided body, long cast iron handle and traditional riveted construction.  The copper exterior has a hand-hammered texture with rich, naturally developed patina, darkened areas and color variation from age and previous kitchen use. Its long curved handle includes an opening at the end for hanging display and is secured to the pot with three rivets.  Stamped “Made in France” near the handle. A beautiful piece for a French country kitchen, European farmhouse display or vintage cookware collection. The copper exterior has darkened areas and small green verdigris spots. The interior tin lining is heavily worn, scratched, darkened and discolored from previous use. The cast iron handle shows oxidation and finish wear. This piece has not been professionally cleaned, restored or retinned. Buyer should independently assess the lining before cooking use.
