Royal Albert Old Country Roses Chintz Collection Mini Tea Table Teapot 1996

A wonderfully detailed miniature vintage Royal Albert collectible teapot in the classic Old Country Roses pattern. Created for the 1996 Chintz Collection by noted novelty teapot artist Paul Cardew for Royal Albert, this earthenware teapot resembles a Victorian tea table covered with a flowing rose patterned cloth. The pink removable lid is topped with a miniature afternoon tea scene featuring a tiny teapot, cup and saucer, plates, and tea sandwiches. The lower portion is decorated with openwork heart and scroll motifs highlighted in bright gold. A pink handle and spout complete the romantic design. Approximate measurements: - 5 inches tall with the lid - 6 inches wide from spout to handle - 4.25 inches deep The teapot is in excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. The gold decoration remains bright and shows no noticeable wear. The spotted or mottled appearance along some of the gilded rims is intentional and part of the original decorative finish. Light shelf rub marks are present on the underside of the feet. Please review all photographs carefully for the most complete condition description.
