Ananda Project / :Re-Release
Nite Grooves / KNG 152 / 2001 / 2×12”
A 2LP released in 2001 by Nite Grooves, featuring tracks by Chris Brann's Ananda Project, re-imagined by Louie Vega, King Britt, and the unit Kyoto Jazz Massive (comprising Shuya and Yoshihiro Okino). Nite Grooves, a more deep and underground-oriented label under King Street, presents a fantastic compilation where NY deep house intersects with the Japanese club jazz/crossover sensibilities of the era.
This record is rarely seen on the used market, so it's for those who have been searching for it.
The jacket shows age-related color changes and scuffing. There are minor hairline scratches on the vinyl, but they do not affect playback. Please consider these points when making your decision.
