Description
Long before mass-produced holiday décor filled store shelves, Polish craftsmen like Miratynski Adam were hand-carving and painting szopka — nativity cribs rooted in a Krakow tradition dating back to the 19th century. This numbered piece (No. 151/1/514) carries that legacy in every brushstroke: the onion-domed church, bold zigzag trim, arched stable, and swaddled Christ child rendered in vivid folk colors. Exported during Poland's celebrated 1960s–70s craft era, these pieces were prized worldwide. Original label intact. Angel halo and wings missing, but the soul of this piece is fully present. CONDITION: Good — missing on Mary halo and wings, paint vibrant, all other pieces intact See photos
