Handmade Nicaragua Pottery Egg Luminary Nativity

San Juan de Oriente artisans. Like new. Never used with a candle but it was set out last Christmas.  Handmade ceramic egg-shaped luminary featuring an incised and hand-painted Nativity scene — Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus with gold halos, set against a teal robe with white star accents. The reverse features cut-out stars that glow when lit from within with a tea light or string lights. Rests on a matching wood-fired base with a green glazed rim. Hand-thrown and etched in the traditional folk-pottery style of San Juan de Oriente, Nicaragua. Measures approximately 5” tall. Not signed by the artist. Vintage/pre-owned condition — please review photos closely, as this is a one-of-a-kind handmade piece with natural variations in glaze and clay speckling. Weight: 14.2 oz.  Excellent condition with no cracks or chips.
