About D-DAY: D-DAY was a band active in the 1980s, characterized by their aesthetic and sophisticated sound, reminiscent of overseas post-punk artists like Cocteau Twins and Young Marble Giants. Mikiko Kawakita's coquettish and sweet vocals gave them a unique presence in the new wave scene of the time. This CITRON is a rare record that is sometimes handled as valuable indie material from that era in used record markets and specialty stores like Disk Union.
