Vintage 1937 King George VI Coronation Embroidered Linen Tablecloth 35” Beautiful vintage commemorative tablecloth created for the 1937 coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. Features colorful embroidery with a crowned “GR” royal monogram, English roses, Scottish thistles, Irish shamrocks, and the historic date “12th May 1937.” Smaller embroidered floral emblems decorate the remaining corners. Finished with a delicate dark stitched border. Measures approximately 35 x 32.5 inches. Good vintage condition for its age, with natural wrinkles and a small faint stain near the center as shown. Approximately 89 years old and a wonderful piece of British royal memorabilia, suitable for display, collecting, framing, or use as a decorative tea tablecloth.
