Description
This is a listing for a dynamic lanyard for self-belaying, made with a new Kong slide.
The rope used is:
A 9mm Beal Verdon 2 Golden Dry dynamic rope, which is resistant to water absorption.
It is cut to 2.4m and is brand new.
Similar to Petzl Connect Adjust, Beal Expresso Fit, and Edelrid Switch Adjust, the length can be adjusted by pulling the end of the rope as shown in Photo ②.
Attachment to the harness is done by tying into the tie-in loop with a double figure-eight knot or a bowline knot, just like with a climbing rope, as shown in Photos ① and ③.
There is enough slack in the rope to tie a backup knot.
Photo ④ shows a comparison with the Petzl Dual Connect Adjust.
It is set up as shown in Photo ⑤.
By setting a carabiner with a clove hitch in the middle of the rope and attaching a belay device, you can perform rappelling or lead belaying.
Photo ⑥ shows an example of setting it up at a belay point.
Photo ⑦ shows an example of setting up the rope for rappelling or lead belaying.
Carabiners and harnesses are not included, so please prepare them separately.

The rope and slide will be detached for packing.
