This authentic 1920s/1930s double-vanity compact (often called a tango or dance purse) features a beautiful geometric engine-turned metal case with clipped corners. The center showcases a stunning pale blue guilloché enamel plaque adorned with a delicate, hand-painted pink rose. It hangs elegantly from its original link chain, designed to wear around the wrist or finger while dancing. Rare Collector’s Interior Layout:Bottom Section: Deep, textured face powder well complete with its original square peach-pink fabric puff and crochet pull tab. Top Lid Section: Dual-sided panel featuring a glass mirror on the right and a hinged, flip-up oval medallion on the left.
