Description
A vertical flute that developed in the Tang Dynasty of ancient China.
It is a flute similar to the Japanese Shakuhachi.
Approximately 65cm in total length.
Originally, Dongxiao were often made of bamboo, but this Dongxiao is made of 304 stainless steel, which is not magnetic.
It may be difficult to see in the images, but there is a carving around the top of the flute depicting cranes taking flight.
I purchased it with the intention of starting a new hobby, but it turned out to be counterproductive as my joints are too stiff to cover all the holes, so I have decided to part with it.
