Bring the timeless elegance of fine Japanese porcelain into your home with this striking 1970s vintage display plate by Shibata Toki. Rooted in the iconic Imari tradition, the design features a balance of intricate cobalt blue scrolling vines, vibrant iron-red chrysanthemums, and stylized panels showcasing the mythical phoenix. The center medallion anchors the composition with an elegant floral bundle, framed by a radiant, hand-applied gold gilt rim. This 10.5 platter functions beautifully as a focal cabinet piece, an elegant mantle display, or traditional wall art using the included hanger. Its rich, multi-color palette pairs naturally with both traditional Asian-inspired decors. • Creator: Shibata Toki (柴田陶器) • Medium: Glazed Porcelain with Enamel Graphics and Gold Gilt • Exact Dimensions: 10.5 inches (Standard factory mold; approx. 10.25 flat) • Era: Late 1970s Vintage • Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks
