Rare Salmon Falls Stoneware pitcher featuring a hand-incised horse-drawn buggy scene in cobalt blue, depicting a driver at the reins of a trotting horse pulling a two-wheeled cart. The stoneware body has the classic Salmon Falls speckled gray glaze, with the maker's impressed oval stamp reading Salmon Falls Stoneware 1992 Dover, N.H. on the front. Hand-signed by Salmon Falls artist/decorator Therese Crayton-Ackley near the base of the design. This detailed pictorial scene is uncommon among Salmon Falls pieces, making it a rare find for any stoneware or folk art pottery collection.  CONDITION: Excellent condition.
