During the Victorian to Edwardian era, manufacturers like Sidney Osborne Bigney Company produced high-quality, heavy gold-filled watch fob chains and full-length vest chains. This 15.5 (total length) chain has what they referred to as a Mirror Finish. It has a very nice shine compared to other watch or vest chains. The dog clip swivel clasp is in proper functioning condition and the piece shows very little brassing - wearing of gold-fill. (See pictures.) It is non-magnetic. This chain can be used as a Victorian style choker. Adding a vintage locket or charm to complete the look. Or, use in your steampunk creations. Unisex. This is an estate item.
