Slide Fob Chain. Double Albert. Victorian-style antique. Linton & Co. Aesthetic Movement. Gold-filled. Beautiful Locket. Check check check check check. So many boxes are checked with the watch fob chain. Starting with the locket-style fob on this watch chain, it speaks volumes about the past. Its nature inspired modif is of the Aesthetic Movement. The pastes stones on the front of the locket feature one larger red one and smaller clear ones around the bottom of its face. The darkness of the pastes comes with age. There is one small one missing on the right side. The latch on the locket needs repaired, but it still shows its beauty.   Linton & Co. in England and Rhode Island were makers of these fine pieces in this Victorian time period. They designed it with etched larger chain links, a tubular t-bar, and smaller rope chains that draped across the wearers body. The slide mechanism and spacers are of matching design. A sturdy dog chain closer ends this gorgeous, history speaking piece. The total length is 14.5.  This is an estate item. Please review pictures of ware due to age.
