The Bob Reeves Brass Receiver Ring fits over the hexagonal portion of your receiver creating an acoustical damp. This secures the slots in the upper register and increasing sound and projection making it a favorite for lead and commercial players. It fits Bach trumpets, some Getzen trumpets, and other manufacturers that use a hexagonal receiver.
