Vintage Louis Vuitton compact wallet crafted in glossy red Monogram Vernis patent leather with gold-tone hardware, a snap-tab closure, and a framed kisslock coin compartment.  This is a project or restoration piece with substantial cosmetic wear. The exterior shows heavy rubbing, finish loss, scratches, scuffs, and discoloration throughout. There is significant rub-off along the trim, edges, and corners, along with several areas of dark color transfer on the Vernis exterior. The gold-tone hardware shows fading, scratches, and tarnishing.  The interior also shows general wear and marks. The kisslock coin compartment has heavy coin residue and discoloration. Despite the cosmetic condition, the snap closure remains secure and the kisslock opens and closes properly.
