Description

SIGMA AML-1 46mm
Close-up Lens for SIGMA DP1, DP1s, DP1x

Can be attached to the HA-11 adapter.

This was acquired when I bought the DP2x, but it has been stored unused.

Detailed Description
This is a close-up lens that can be attached to the HA-11 hood adapter, which is exclusive to the DP1/DP2 series. It utilizes the filter attachment function of the HA-11. The filter size is 46mm.

The minimum shooting distance when attached is 20cm. The maximum magnification is 1:8.2. It features a 2-element, 1-group construction, designed to suppress chromatic aberration and distortion. Additionally, a Super Multi-Layer Coating is applied to reduce flare and ghosting.

Note that the minimum shooting distance for the DP1 without the AML-1 attached is 30cm. The DP1 also has a mode to set the minimum shooting distance to 50cm, in addition to the normal FULL mode, to speed up AF focusing. In that case, when the AML-1 is attached, the minimum shooting distance becomes 33cm, and the maximum magnification becomes 1:14.9.
