The treads are manufactured with a slight incline to enhance leg stability.

The underside of the treads is rounded to prevent injury to the horse.

I received these on Mercari but found other stirrups that matched my saddle better, so I only used them once.
I found them to be highly functional, feeling as if the stirrups were sticking to the sole of my boots.
