Vintage Hand Thrown Studio Pottery Bud Vase - Wabi Sabi Modern‎ Decor- Unsigned

The Perfect Earthy Accent for Your Mid-Century Modern Home This exquisite hand-thrown studio pottery bud vase (or weed pot) is a beautiful example of 1980s artisanal craftsmanship. Featuring a classic bulbous form and a slender neck, it’s designed to highlight a single botanical stem or stand alone as a sculptural object. Artisanal Details: The Glaze: A stunning mottled lava style drip glaze. The palette is a warm mix of ochre, burnt sienna, and deep chocolate brown that feels incredibly organic. The Texture: The glaze has a slight tactile grit that transitions into the smooth, exposed red terracotta clay at the rim and base. The Base: The bottom features beautiful concentric chatter marks—the physical thumbprint of the potter’s wheel during the trimming process. Styling Suggestion: This piece fits perfectly into a Boho, Brutalist, or Minimalist interior. Style it on a floating wooden shelf alongside vintage books or use it as a centerpiece on a small bistro table with a dried eucalyptus sprig. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or visible wear. Dimensions: * Height: 5 inches Diameter: 3.5 inches at its widest point Florals for staged photo not included.
