Vintage MCM Rainbow Art Glass Tangerine Amberina Optic Ribbed Vase Applied Coil

Thi is an authentic piece of Mid-Century Modern American art glass, hand-blown by the Rainbow Art Glass Company of West Virginia in the 1960s. Tangerine color, going from an orange-red at the rim down to a golden amber base. The body is designed with an optic ribbed pattern, accented by an applied glass spiral coil around the neck.  Rainbow Art Glass Co.  1960s (Mid-Century Modern)  Tangerine / Amberina (Red, Orange, Yellow)  Hand-blown art glass with applied coil accent  Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or flea bites.  The interior is clean and free of water staining or cloudy residue.  The upper rim is fire-polished and entirely smooth/glossy. This piece was intentionally crafted to be used as an open vase or carafe (it does not require a ground-glass stopper).  The bottom features the snapped pontil scar typical of hand-blown Rainbow Art Glass.  This is a characteristic of the handmade manufacturing process, not damage.
