Description
A footed brass vase with a hand etched floral and vine motif, the design filled in black for contrast against the warm brass. Flared trumpet neck, rounded body, and a stepped pedestal base with matching black banding. Made in India, likely 1970s to 1980s, from the era when etched brass decor was widely imported to the US. Measures 5.75 inches tall, 3 inches across the top opening, 2.5 inches across the base, and approximately 4 inches at its widest point. Solid weight, minor surface tarnish and light scratches consistent with age and use, no dents or repairs. A great layering piece for a gallery shelf, mantel, or dried floral arrangement. Every piece has a past. Find yours. Sarah / The Storied House Co.
