Description
This is a vintage General Electric MED 500 belt buckle, awarded during the GE Medical Systems Division's Spotlight on Safety Program between January 16, 1978 and May 31, 1979. The buckle is cast in solid brass with an antique bronze finish and features a raised relief of a four-door sedan with the GE logo and the bold MED 500 lettering on the front. The reverse side is stamped with the official program details, making this a documented piece of corporate history. Measuring approx. 4 wide, this buckle has substantial weight and was built with durability in mind. Overall condition is very good for its age, with light surface wear and natural patina. All details remain sharp and well-defined. A rare find for collectors of vintage belt buckles and General Electric memorabilia.
