●⚫︎ A Little Bit of Trivia ⚫︎●
The history of horseback riding in Japan began...
Approximately 1500 years ago, during the Kofun period, horses and equestrian equipment were brought from the Korean Peninsula. At that time, horses and equestrian equipment were valuable possessions that only those in power could own. Therefore, the equestrian equipment was buried with the deceased as treasures in burial mounds, and terracotta figures of horses were lined up on top of the mounds.
