Queen Brass Flugelhorn Satin Finish Trumpet

This is a flugelhorn from Queen Brass (Carol Brass).

There are minor scratches and a small dent (see photo 2), but they are barely noticeable and do not affect playability at all.

Includes an optional mouthpiece (Bach 10 1/2C), lead pipes (S and L), and a selection certificate. Will be shipped in the original hard case.

This product is a Japanese market model from Taiwan's Carol Brass, handled by Sanada Trading (JoyBrass).
Carol Brass is highly regarded both domestically and internationally for its technical skill and high level of craftsmanship.

The tone is not a soft sound like vintage Kanon, but rather a straight and stable modern flugelhorn sound like Yamaha.
The pitch is very stable, making it easy to switch from trumpet.

The piston section, in particular, uses HOKSON components, and the valve action and airtightness are comparable to, or even better than, Yamaha. As a side note, HOKSON pistons are also used in some high-end American-made trumpets.

It supports tuning at the tuning slide, allowing for tonal variation, and the water keys are very easy to operate.

The water keys are Amado style, offering less resistance. Unlike Getzen's Amado water keys, they can be disassembled and cleaned without tools.

The finish is satin, which looks great on stage. The tone is also perceived as dark and rich.
