Vintage Mexican Feathercraft Bird of Paradise Pictures Set of 2 Carved Frames

This is a set of two vintage Mexican feathercraft bird pictures, each showing a plumed bird of paradise in soft pinks, golds, and warm browns, with hand-painted floral branches beneath them. The two frames are genuinely different from one another — one carved in a bold twisted-rope pattern, the other in a quieter diamond-and-dash motif — so this reads less like a matched pair and more like a small curated collection, the kind of thing you’d find stacked together at an estate sale after decades on someone’s wall. ✦ The Details • Vintage Mexican feathercraft folk art, mid-century era (circa 1950s–60s) • Real feathers combined with hand-painted branch and floral details • Two different hand-carved wood frames, both ready to hang • Larger piece measures approximately 13–14” tall; smaller piece approximately 9–10” tall • Unmarked — no visible maker’s stamp on the backing • Minor wear only, consistent with age — no notable feather or paint loss
