Antique Chinese Gilt Carved Wood Plaque Panel High Relief Asian Art 10"x7"x2"

This is an exquisite Chinese Art Piece. It is done in a high relief carved and gilded wooden panel, with mother of pearl inlay. It depicts Asian characters in a setting within a Chinese dignitary's surroundings, perhaps representing, the immortals of China Back in the 19th century. Crafted with great attention to detail, this antique is made of very old wood and features a stunning gold leaf finish. The intricate carvings on the panel depict scenes of great beauty and elegance, representing the rich cultural heritage of China. This panel is in very good condition and is highly decorative. Some of the interior pieces have Mother of Pearl inlay. This is highly unique and I cannot find any others even remotely close to the beauty of this one. The intricacy of this piece is done with impeccable detail, and also has great patina.
