*GLOWS* Vintage Westmoreland Covered Candy Dish w/ Lid

Vintage Westmoreland white milk glass covered candy dish (or vanity jar) in the highly desirable and scarce Old Quilt (Block and Star) pattern. This particular undivided variation is hard to find with its original matching lid. The exterior features gorgeous, intricate geometric quilted relief panels, hand-painted with delicate pink roses, green leaves, and tiny blue forget-me-nots. This vintage piece features a light, green glow under 365nm UV light due to the presence of manganese in the original glass formulation, making it an excellent addition to any glow glass or milk glass collection. Please note the following minor imperfections typical of age and use. There are a few small chips on the inside of the lid and rim of bowl. These are primarily hidden when the lid is in place and do not detract from the beauty or display value of the piece. Height: 6 inches tall to the top of the lid's pointed finial. Diameter/Width: 4.5 to 5 inches at its widest point across the round body Photos taken with a 365nm UV Blacklight
