Heavy Bottom Cap for XO / JUPITER (Used)
This is a one-owner item (myself).
Simply replacing the normal bottom cap with the heavy bottom cap reduces unnecessary vibrations,
changing the tone and playing feel.
In the photo example, it is attached to the 3rd valve,
but attaching it to the 1st or 2nd valve will change the sound dramatically.
On the instrument I use, attaching it to the 2nd valve
resulted in a more resonant sound and made it easier to play high notes.
Attaching it to all three valves makes the instrument itself heavier
and significantly increases resistance, but it felt like most of the noise in the sound was
removed.
It should be attachable to instruments with the same screw diameter and pitch,
but I cannot guarantee this.
