Description
This is a Courtois flugelhorn!!
It was originally lacquered, but I had it converted to unlacquered.
It has a rich, dark tone that records exceptionally well, so I used it for jazz and solo recordings.
There was very little model information (it says FH222),
so I didn't pay much attention, but I believe it was likely produced as a secondary line to the AC series.
Based on AI information, the estimated price is around 400,000-500,000 yen.
I suspect it might be a custom order from a local instrument shop. The quality of the instrument is first-class, so even without knowing the specifics, I could trust it and play it with confidence.
I haven't been able to play it much recently, so please oil it. The soft parts have been replaced.
Also, I had a music shop replace the piston buttons with Monel metal. This allows for fast passages.
Please note that it is unlacquered!
