Up for sale is a classic vintage 1970s Timex Electronic men's watch, featuring a distinct retro UFO style cushion case. This unique timepiece represents a fascinating era in horological history, bridging the gap between mechanical movements and modern quartz. It houses a hybrid electromechanical movement that uses a battery to power a traditional sweeping balance wheel. The watch is in overall very good condition, running well and keeping accurate time. Day and date click over properly at midnight. The crystal has some very minor scratches which are almost invisible. A new battery and a new non-original leather band were just installed. Fits up to a 7 3/4 wrist.
