For Mikarin Only: YAMAHA Piccolo Trumpet (YTR-9835)
YAMAHA Piccolo Trumpet (YTR-9835)
(Bb/A, with cornet and trumpet shanks)
This is the current model. It was purchased new and used for about 10 years.
I was mainly active in wind ensembles, using it a few times a year for various concerts, competitions, and ensemble contests.
Several years ago, I purchased a different piccolo trumpet, so I no longer used this one as my main instrument. I kept it thinking I might use it, but have now decided to sell it.
The tuning slides (1, 3, and 4) and the piston caps and bottoms have all been gold-plated.
(This process cost ¥50,000-¥60,000 at the time, but I hear the cost has increased significantly now.)
Unlike some special instruments, this one does not have tuning quirks and makes it easier to play in the high register.
It was my main instrument for a period, so there are signs of use, but there are no dents, and I believe it is in beautiful condition.
The case is not the original, but a double case is included. (The case shown in the photos is a DAC triple case. If you would prefer this one, please comment separately. I purchased it but have barely used it, and it is in beautiful condition.)
Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price: ¥583,000 (tax included)
As a Golden Week special, my desired selling price was ¥500,000, but I would like to offer a discount of about ¥20,000.
If you are interested, please feel free to comment.
