42" Vtg Handcraft India Fabric Weighted 16 Bird Chicken Bellpull Door Wall Decor

Vintage from India - 16 Birds Chickens - Weighted Front Door Bell Pull, Chime, or Hanging Wall Decor - 42 This is a neat decorative fun piece! There are 16 chickens, or bird shapes, with little heads and beaks and fabric strip tail feathers. They were stuffed very firmly with what feels like fine sand, so they are weighted to hang nicely. These are very firm.... reminds me of an old tomato pincushion, and they were strung on a braided cord with red beads separating them to keep them evenly space and in place. There is a loop on top to hang on a hook or nail, and a brass primitive rustic bell hanging below that has a nice chime. Great for the front door instead of a wreath, on a covered porch for a wind chime, or hanging on a wall as decor. Great condition, I find no damage, and they remain very colorful without any fabric fade. A totally handcrafted item with no two birds alike, and the bell unique. Not fine decor, but funky chicken charming world bazaar boho Bollywood type of decor!
