Description
Starring Kippei Shiina, the WOWOW Drama Jiken (The Case) Volumes 1 & 2 DVD Set
A stabbed body is discovered at a material yard. The victim is a woman in her 20s who ran a small snack bar in the area. Soon after, a 19-year-old man, the victim's childhood friend, is arrested on suspicion of murder and corpse disposal. The defense for the young man is entrusted to Daisaburo Kikuchi (Kippei Shiina), a former judge who, after a certain trial, became fixated on the past and turned his back on truth. It was expected to be a simple trial with a quick verdict, especially with the young man's confession. However, after a turn of events during police interrogation, the young man denies any intent to kill in court. As Kikuchi investigates the young man further, he is once again confronted with truth. Eventually, surprising facts are revealed one after another in the courtroom, confusing those who are judging. Is the young man truly a killer...?
