【Charles Davis West Coast Model】
This is a modern, evolved Calicchio developed with the goal of recreating the legendary Hollywood instrument Calicchio, which is still cherished by West Coast players today. It is highly regarded among studio musicians.
Parts are crafted using the leadpipe and bell shapes owned by Charles Davis himself. After assembly, the instrument undergoes valve alignment by Bob Reeves, followed by meticulous fine-tuning and adjustments before shipping.
This particular instrument features a combination of the 1S bell and the 2nd slide leadpipe.

From my perspective as a long-time trumpet player, this is a highly refined instrument that is extremely easy to play. It feels as though all your breath turns into sound, giving you a sense of improvement. The intonation is accurate, and the response is consistent across all registers. You will be able to play without any stress.

【Condition】
There are no issues with the pistons or slides. Airtightness is also good. There is no plating roughness, peeling, or dullness, but there is one small scratch. Please check the close-up image. It does not affect the piston movement at all.
Other than this, there may be minor polishing scratches that have been overlooked, but it is in excellent condition, a beautiful item.
The 1st slide trigger has been changed to a ring type. If you wish to revert it, you can use the original trigger that will be included.
