Adjustable Support (4mm shaft for trombone slide) ② *Self-made part

I originally created an adjustable support to attach to the main slide of a trombone. However, I received feedback requesting a support that could be attached to the end of the slide, so I created this product.

It is made with the same mechanism as the wide adjustable support, allowing it to accommodate everything from narrow-bore tenor trombones to wide-bore bass trombones.
The main shaft screw is 4mm, and the plate is approximately 9mm.
(The 4mm main shaft is roughly the same thickness as the supports found on trumpets.)

It can be extended from a minimum of 57mm to a maximum of approximately 93mm, but personally, I think around 90mm is the practical maximum length.

Attaching it to the end of the slide increases resistance, but it seems to add momentum to the sound, resulting in a more vibrant tone.
The sound tends to lean towards a style suitable for pop and jazz.

I have included two nuts to prevent loosening.
I believe using two is best, but it can also be secured with one.

I have confirmed that it can be attached to the Yamaha YSL-651 (narrow-bore), CONN 88H (wide-bore narrow), and V. Bach 42B (wide-bore wide). Therefore, I believe it should fit most trombone slides.

While designed for attachment to the end of the slide, it may also be attachable to the F-attachment section on open wrap models, depending on the width.
This could be beneficial for those who want to increase resistance or tsubo (a term referring to a specific resonant point or feel) when using the F-attachment.

There should be no issues with use, but please note that as this is a handmade item, there may be variations in soldering and finish.
Also, it is not a finished product like those commercially manufactured, so please be aware of this beforehand.
